PDC and Roller-cone Drill Bits

PDC and roller-cone drill bits, selected and optimised for formation characteristics, drilling parameters, and well objectives.

Bitmaster supplies polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) and roller-cone (tricone) drill bits across the full land-drilling programme — from large-diameter conductor and surface holes to production and slimhole intervals. Bits are matched to the formation, the planned drilling parameters, and the objective of each hole section, so operators get the right balance of rate of penetration (ROP), durability, and directional control.

Bit Types We Supply

• PDC (fixed-cutter) bits — matrix- and steel-body, in a range of blade counts and cutter sizes, for efficient, high-ROP drilling through the soft-to-firm sand and shale sequences typical of the Niger Delta.

• Roller-cone (tricone) bits — milled-tooth and tungsten-carbide-insert (TCI), with sealed-bearing options, for interbedded, gravelly, or harder intervals and applications where a cone bit is the better fit.

How We Select The Right Bit

We help select bits using formation data and offset-well bit records — matching cutting structure, gauge protection, and hydraulics to each interval. Where required, we advise on nozzle / total-flow-area (TFA) configuration to suit rig hydraulics and hole-cleaning requirements, and provide bit records and IADC dull grading for offset learning.

Table note: IADC codes shown are indicative for the formation type listed and are confirmed for each specific bit supplied. “Benin / Agbada / Akata” refer to the standard Niger Delta stratigraphic sequence (shallow continental sands → paralic sand–shale reservoirs → deeper marine shales).
